Family to Family

This ministry is all about being your brother’s keeper. A Church is one big family but needs to have the close ties of an individual family. This ministry helps the pastoral staff stay connected with those who may need help, providing a safety net for God’s people.

Senior Smiles

Each month this outreach team visit the elderly who are in a nursing home or confined in their own home. The purpose is to bring a time of refreshing through music and words of encouragement. If you or someone you love would like to be visited, please contact us.

WestWind

This ministry offers love, truth, and security in Jesus Christ to those involved in unwanted same sex attraction. It provides an atmosphere of acceptance and empathy while people journey toward change and wholeness. It also gives support to family and friends of those with same sex attraction.

Takin' It To The Streets

As a community outreach of our Church this ministry focuses on meeting the spiritual and practical needs of children. Whether it is cooking a hot meal, playing games or providing clothing, the love of Jesus is demonstrated in a way children can relate to.

Caring Hearts

This relational care ministry offers encouragement to those within our Dwelling Place family. Whether it's walking through challengening life events or celebrating a new birth, we want to be there for you.

Prison Ministry

Prison House Missions is a team of men, led by Pastor David who go out every month to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with the men who are incarcerated in Phelps Correctional in Dequincy and Allen Correctional in Kinder. They bring the message of hope and healing to the lost and broken.

A Women's Prison Ministry Team reach out to the women in our local Calcasieu Correctional facility, helping to bring hope and restoration into the lives of these women.

Ministry Team

A team of men and women dedicate themselves to prayer before each Sunday service, praying specifically for the Message to reach the hearts of all who would attend our services. They also assist at the altar during ministry and provide bibles and other helpful material to those in need.

Serving Love

The third Saturday of every month a team goes out into the community to share the love of Christ through random acts of kindness. Whether it is loading groceries, a free car wash, or a cold bottle of water on a hot day, God's love is demonstrated in a practical way.
